What do you get when you get a whole bunch of horse trainers, equine businesses, and anyone who loves horses and put them all together? … an awesome weekend of visiting, watching and learning! I had the opportunity to be included in this event – The 2014 Mane Event trade show held in Red Deer. It was an great way for me to promote my equine photography; visiting with many people about the value of getting special portraits with your horses and hiring a professional horse photographer. This was my first time attending a trade show so it was a bit of a process for me to decide on what I wanted my booth to look like… but after it was all put together and set up I think it was perfect! I loved how clean and simple, yet inviting and homey it was. Biggest thanks to my awesome husband for helping me build the walls for my booth. ( I had too much fun painting the booth walls… I’ve now got the painting bug and want to keep painting some walls in our own home!)
I also made my first Stories of Equine Photography magazine to hand out at the Mane Event. Love how they turned out!! If you are interested in my photography and would like a copy, just let me know and if I still have copies left I’d be happy to mail one out to you! Or you can check out the digital version HEREWhat do you think of these brushes? I very excited to have these as gifts for my amazing equine clients to use. Big thanks to Jackie from Scratchin the Surface in Rimbey for putting my logo on the brushes.
And the draw for a Free Session was a big hit – Thanks to everyone who entered the draw and congrats to Shelby on winning! I’m looking forward to getting together with her later this year and photographing her and her animal(s).
